E.L.F. Duo Eye Shadow Cream in Sugar Cookie, Butter Pecan, Berry Mix, Black Licorice, & Olive.

What it does:
Express yourse.l.f. with the easy to blend, crease resistant, creamy duo eye shadow colors. Each gorgeous shade can be worn alone or together for a dramatic effect. The soft-blending formula can also be layered under powder eye shadow to set the color in and keep it lasting vibrant all day.
Description taken from here.
What I like:
  • Affordable! $1 only.
  • Great color variety & pigmentation.
  • Silky texture and blends easily.
  • Good eyeshadow base. Builds up the vibrancy of an eyeshadow of the same color.
  • Small. Great for on-the-go.

What I don't like:
  • Will wear off eventually if used alone.
  • Creases if too much product is applied.
  •  Costs 125PHP in the Philippines! (150% increase! LOL.)

I actually don't give these babies much love, can you tell? LOL. But when I actually used these the results were pretty awesome. I used the silver portion of Black Licorice on my cousin when she attended a debut party... I topped it off with a silver eyeshadow and it made the color payoff better. It also lasted her throughout the night and so I definitely think this can be used as a base (yes, that was in the Philippines). You have to use a similar eyeshadow to the eyeshadow cream you pick, mind you.

I actually got a majority of these through a seller in Multiply who marked down all her E.L.F. Essential line stock to 75PHP (I paid more than a $1!) when I was in the Philippines... Yeah! Lucky me! You can actually get this in most department stores (e.g. SM) or most Watsons. For all you Bicolanos, these are available at SM Naga for sure! And finally, think I got 1 or 2 of it at a forum sale over at GirlTalk for much less.

E.L.F. Duo Eye Shadow Cream in Sugar Cookie.
I think Sugar Cookie is the best for everyday use. Not dramatic at all yet if placed all over your lid, it will brighten up your eyes. I applied the yellow one under my eyes and it did great brightening it up the area, too.

Swatches: E.L.F. Duo Eye Shadow Cream in Black Licorice, Berry Mix, Sugar Cookie, Butter Pecan, & Olive.
I think these are an affordable version of the Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadows. I actually have the one in Twilight and I think its pretty much the same.

I feel bad for almost forgetting these babies. I remember how I was so ecstatic when I saw them go on sale... It was rush hour then! People reserving items like madmen! So yeah, I definitely will try to use these more.
