B E E K Y O O T E

     Last Friday, ONE OK ROCK performed at The Regency Ballroom, San Francisco! They were the second lineup out of four bands for the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour and it was their first stop out of many more!

     It's been four months since Anime Expo 2015 and my interview with rockstar drummer, SHINYA of DIR EN GREY, is finally up on VKH Press! Hurrah!      Hello everyone. If you follow me on instagram, you would have probably seen that I have been to a rock concert recently! But this isn't just a rock concert, it was a Japanese rock concert by the famous Dir En Grey! I have a compiled into a vlog the videos I took and I have also a couple pictures during the concert here. If you want to know how my experience was, keep reading!

     During Anime Expo this year, My Melody celebrated her 40th anniversary by having her first appearance on run runway in the US called "Sanrio's Sweet Happy Melody Fashion Show". Check out my pictures!

This was a collaboration with JapanLa, the brand that opened the fashion show as seen in my post. Kimura U also comes back on stage to model for the line! Once again, I have made an official report on the show in VKH-Press, make sure to watch out for it!

     Here's part one of our weekend at Vegas at the start of the month... We traveled from Monterey to Las Vegas and end up in our hotel, the Luxor. Excuse my chatty-ness. I'm trying a more minimalistic approach in vlogging, but I like to talk, I guess. We also go to the Safe in Sound Festival at the end of the night! Tiring, but fun! You can either watch it down below or check out my pictures ^^

     It's been a little over two weeks since BIGBANG's concert in Vegas... and here's my post! I actually only have a few pictures taken by my old phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) which isn't the greatest, but I'm pretty sure you're not allowed cameras inside, so I had to work with what I had. And despite not having so much pictures, I did put together of some of the highlight of the concert into a video log (see down below). But also, read on to see how this concert went down!

BIG BANG MADE TOUR in VEGAS by beekyoote.

     On the last day of Anime Expo 2015, I was supposed to attend another press con featuring Shinya of Dir En Grey and designer, h.NAOTO. Unfortunately, it was cancelled. My sister and I were disappointed because usually on the last day, we take our time enjoying our beautiful hotel and taking our time packing up. We actually took the time to wake up early, swim for a bit, eat breakfast, get ready to go while packing to get to the convention for Day 4. Since we took that effort, we decided to go around the Exhibition Hall and visit the h.NAOTO booth, which is a good thing because I was so busy working that I never took the time to look around and enjoy the convention for what it is.

     I was also able to capture the designer, Hirooka Naoto, himself at work! We also approached him for a quick pic (as seen below) and had a little chit-chat. He said that the press con was cancelled because Shinya had to fly back to Japan. But it's totally fine, we both (especially me) had a pretty good view of the rock star drummer this 4th of July weekend and we were able to take a better look at the line which was the highlight of the Fashion Show (my official report on this will be up soon along with a personal blog post on it!). The quality of the items are very high and you can tell why it's also priced equally high. Also, compared to the other lines that appeared in the Fashion Show, this booth was the biggest and had the most items... they definitely came to AX2015 well stocked! If you love the punk & gothic lolita look, h.NAOTO is one of the brands you should look at!
