The h.NAOTO Booth @ AX2015

     On the last day of Anime Expo 2015, I was supposed to attend another press con featuring Shinya of Dir En Grey and designer, h.NAOTO. Unfortunately, it was cancelled. My sister and I were disappointed because usually on the last day, we take our time enjoying our beautiful hotel and taking our time packing up. We actually took the time to wake up early, swim for a bit, eat breakfast, get ready to go while packing to get to the convention for Day 4. Since we took that effort, we decided to go around the Exhibition Hall and visit the h.NAOTO booth, which is a good thing because I was so busy working that I never took the time to look around and enjoy the convention for what it is.

     I was also able to capture the designer, Hirooka Naoto, himself at work! We also approached him for a quick pic (as seen below) and had a little chit-chat. He said that the press con was cancelled because Shinya had to fly back to Japan. But it's totally fine, we both (especially me) had a pretty good view of the rock star drummer this 4th of July weekend and we were able to take a better look at the line which was the highlight of the Fashion Show (my official report on this will be up soon along with a personal blog post on it!). The quality of the items are very high and you can tell why it's also priced equally high. Also, compared to the other lines that appeared in the Fashion Show, this booth was the biggest and had the most items... they definitely came to AX2015 well stocked! If you love the punk & gothic lolita look, h.NAOTO is one of the brands you should look at!
