SHINYA (DIR EN GREY) at the ANIME EXPO 2015 FASHION SHOW

I, Bee, had the pleasure of sitting with fashionista, Junnyan, for an interview for VKH-Press (now defunct). Yes, this is a repost of the original article into my own blog as I don't want this to be lost on internet forever.. so here it is! Moving forward, I plan to archive the rest of my past work here as well, and I will be including the following disclaimer on those posts:

     It's been four months since Anime Expo 2015 and my interview with rockstar drummer, SHINYA of DIR EN GREY, is finally up on VKH Press! Hurrah! There's also a giveaway going on, so go on and read all about it HERE. But if you want to check out my personal thoughts about this whole experience, read on!

     During Anime Expo this year, My Melody celebrated her 40th anniversary by having her first appearance on run runway in the US called "Sanrio's Sweet Happy Melody Fashion Show". Check out my pictures!

This was a collaboration with JapanLa, the brand that opened the fashion show as seen in my post. Kimura U also comes back on stage to model for the line! Once again, I have made an official report on the show in VKH-Press, make sure to watch out for it!

     So, Anime Expo has been done for over two months already...but I still got a couple of posts that need to go up and this is one of them. I was able to get a good seat covering the very popular Fashion Show at Anime Expo and will be coming out with an official report about the event for VKH-Press. But in the mean time and while waiting for that post to get published, I'll share with you all the pictures I took during the event. And here, we have JapanLa with their "The Simpsons x Hello Kitty" & "Rilakkuma" Collection that opened the show!

      Wow. It's officially the first of August and this post is almost a month late. Well, it's only been a month and that's not too bad considering I take more time in the usual, haha! This has been my 3rd year attending the biggest anime convention in the US and it was been different from the first two times. I worked as a reporter for VKH-Press and it definitely was a unique experience. I already have bought a pass the year before, but because of work, I was provided with a Press Pass which pretty much gave me VIP access. I wish we brought one more person, it was a waste of a badge money, lol. This post is a mixture of my instagram pix and dslr pics, so pardon the quality. And yes, ANDREA is my real name... just saying. Read on to see how it went for me.

     Soon after this, we are renewing our set list with new dances/performances for the many events coming up this year... yup! All new & exciting! I'm looking forward to it! Although the girls aren't complete, we have guest performers and some special surprises in store!
