Week two of my fashion inspiration! ^^

So last July 4 weekend, instead of celebrating America's Independence Day. My sister and I were at the largest Anime Convention of the USA, Anime Expo at the humongous Los Angeles Convention Center! Yes, it was a big convention of anime lovers (aka dorks like me)... but what was funny though that they had a KPOP DANCE COVER CONTEST, too! A KPOP competition in an anime convention??? Funny but we signed up for it anyways!

Here's our performance!

The event turned out to be bigger than we expected and to think there are so many KPOP lovers and they gathered to this event either to compete or watch! My sister had a great time dancing for the wonderful audience! Yup, they were very welcoming that despite our imperfect routine (with only 10 mins of practice prior to actually being called to dance) that we felt like we were "home". Gabby and I actually got into this hip-hop dance crew and were having a hard time keeping up that this competition made us at ease, like we belonged somewhere! LOL. No, we didn't win and we didn't expect to. We just wanted to dance and show our love for KPOP!











Asides from the instagram post, I found that someone included us in their montage of the event, as well!
When you find us, you can tell how happy my sister is dancing... yeah! stress relief from all our dance crew stuff (I'll blog about it later)... dancing to what we love! TEEHEE.

By the way, in order to get into the competition it was was required of us to submit a video dancing to KPOP... this was our submission!
I chose to dance this despite my weakness to "cutesy" dancing. My sister on the other hand, has a natural gift for this type. I decided to go with this to commemorate our love for the Wonder Girls... if they still exist because their super awesome leader, Sunye, has gone on to get married and is now pregnant! Well, as long as she's happy right?! HAHA. So yeah, we loved this song ever since and only decided to make a partial cover to it 5 years later... LOL.

I'm being very active in dancing lately and I promise to blog more about my ventures but if you want to stay updated on what the "fancy footwork" I'm on... check out my dance channel!

Once again, thanks to the people who cheered for us at the event!
Gabby's friend, Suzzen, was the only one there with us and yet everyone in the audience made us feel so happy!

Heyyyy guys!

It's actually been a week since my Bee-Day and the fact I am another year older (NOOOOOO! LOL XD) but I want to share with you what I did on that special day that only comes once a year with you all! :D

Have you guys heard 2NE1's I LOVE YOU yet???

   It's been released for over a month now... I was still in the Philippines when it came out so it's only recently when my younger sister, gabby aka  gAbbYrOckzz, has decided to work on a cover of this song! And oh, she did it in collaboration with my even younger cousin Madelene of madeelynmusic  this time! My sister 's room is right across mine, so when Madelene slept over it was hard not to hear them working till 5am getting their Korean right over & over again! Yes! They were still up till that time in the morning recording the song! As soon as they were done... filming the music video was in order! And whatdyaaaknow??! It was my BEE~DAY! HAHA. Of all days right?? But since I'm nice, despite it being my special day... like always I worked as the "voice-activated-light-stand", "illuminator", and "baggage girl"! YEE! :DDD

Let me share some pictures of my special day...at work! LOL.

Our choice for the location of the video is none other than the beautiful Carmel-By-the-Sea! We've been here a couple of times...I probably should get posts up more about this place! XD We went from alleys, streets, to the beach! Mind you, I think I forgot to add that I also act as a behind-the-scenes camera person! LOL :D 

After a long day of getting ready & actual filming.. we still had dinner over at Islands. Since it was just us kids, big burgers were our choice to celebrate the remains of my Bee~Day :)

I enjoyed my veggie burger very much & the oh so delicious Chocolate Lava which we shared and was gone in less than 5 mins! HAHA.

 Overall, my BEE~DAY wasn't bad at all depsite having to "work"... it carried out the tradition of somehow ending up the beach ever since I was 14 years old. So yay me! 

Now, for the fruit of our hard work...

Can't believe I started blogging when I was 18-ish... and now I'm older! HAHA.

This is Kim Ji Eun. 

She is a former artist under YG Entertainment, the same company that holds 2NE1 & Big Bang.
And she also auditioned for Mnet's Voice of Korea show but didn't make the next round.

Watch her performance from 19:40 and you would agree with me when I say they made a
HUGE MISTAKE.

Kim Ji Eun was freaking awesome!

I actually heard about her way before I became a super fan of Big Bang when they have just debuted.
She worked with Taebin of 1TYM and Lexy (also YG Artists) and fell in love with her voice.






Her voice is amazing!!!

She always did these features with other main singers as a YG trainee and it took awhile before they finally launched her as YG's New Face when  Lexy came out with her third album "Rush" in 2007.

 They did push through in releasing her solo album but after that it seemed that they seemed to just leave it that. Then came 2010 and she was came out in a group called "Lady Collection"

 But they seem to have disappeared as soon as they debuted...

It hurts to see how such an amazing talent like hers is going to waste.
 YG doesn't know how to take care of his female artists and it makes me wonder how 2NE1 will end.

So for all those ignorant people saying a bunch of BS about how CL is better than her just because they have the same haircut now or whatever... She trained 2NE1 before they debuted!

Ugggggh!
 Anyways, I hope something good comes to her since she got all this attention lately!

Just a couple of days ago... 2NE1 paid a visit to my hometown!!!

Legazpi City, Albay, Philippines.

Of all the places... my hometown!!!!

I don't mean to brag but its a place full of beaches and our place is boomin' for tourism!

Unfortunately, I wasn't around to see them... which killed me!

I was there for four years for university and when it was when I was away... they decide to come over!

It's craaaaazzzyyyyyy!!!

When they came over from Manila only a handful of people knew about their arrival.

Its kinda sad though... everyone, but Dara, was a little snobbish.
I would have totally been there screaming my butt off with them since I lived close enough to the airport!

They stayed at Misibis Bay Resort at Cagraray Island.


I'm not surprised that they picked Misibis out of all places...
It's the untouched and uncrowded Boracay in our little part of the Philippines!
Definitely a great place to get their vacation on without the crazy crowds!


Then they set out for Santo Domingo, Albay, Philippines.

The vehicle you see behind them is one of the main transportation in the Philippines.. its called a Jeepney.
It feels surreal to see them in Santo Domingo posing around like that...

makes you think.. What are you doing here?!!!! XD

After that... they proceeded to Daraga, Albay and caused a scene!

It's sooo crazy how I've been to the shops in those pictures...

Those streets they were walking on is a major road which they pretty much closed down by just being there!

I was pushing my mom to let me watch there concert in Manila last year for my birthday... and buy the most expensive ticket there was just to see them. It never happened because I went back home earlier than planned. So it is INSANE how the Albayanos got to stalk them for a couple of days for free!!!!

So, how do I feel about this??

If you read my tweets, you'd probably know

I was literally dying when I read tweets on them arriving to my hometown!

Anwyays, to make myself feel better I heard from a reliable source that they shall return to Albay and see the Butandings (Whale Sharks) later this year! I'm crossing my fingers because I might be returning to the Philippines and hopefully I might see them! I've actually seen/touched those whale sharks last year.. but I don't mind seeing them again with 2NE1!!!
