Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealers in Light, Medium Light, Medium and Tan.

Hey Guys!
Today I'll be sharing with you my new Holy Grail concealer from the drugstore!

What it is:

A heavy duty, highly pigmented, multi-use concealer that delivers ultimate coverage. The formula blends seamlessly into skin with plenty of play time creating a flawless and natural look perfect for any occasion. You can hide everything from dark circles and blemishes to tattoos!
0.71oz. $6.
Product description taken from here.

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealers in Light, Medium Light, Medium and Tan.

What I like:
  • Amazing coverage!
  • Easy to blend.
  • Can be used to cover up all types of flaws (pimples, blemishes, eyebags, pores & etc.)!
  • A lot for product for only $6!
  • Doesn't become cakey!
  • Will stay on despite your oily skin and even humid weather.
  • Comes with a concealer pencil that is creamy and has great coverage too!
  • The shade range of this isn't bad. Exceptt for the extremely tan/dark skin.
  • Consistency is neither runny nor too thick. Unless it hasn't been used in awhile, then it will get somewhat thin & runny (like the Light and Medium Light shades below).

Swatches: Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealers in Light, Medium Light, Medium and Tan.

What I don't like:
  • Needs a bit of time to dry up before I pat my powder foundation on to prevent from losing coverage. But I'm not bothered so much by this really.
  • Walmart has this out of stock in my shade half the time and especially when I need it! Way too good, huh? LOL.
  • I highly doubt it's availability in the Philippines.

Final Thoughts:
My Summer 2012 Favorites. [instagram: beekyoote]
I love this concealer! It has replaced my HG concealer from my Top 11 for 2011 post, the Amazing Cosmetics' Amazing Concealer. Why? It is very affordable, has a lot of product per tube, and does the job very well! I even used this when I was in the Philippines and was my must-have that summer! Summer in the Philippines is dreadfully hot and extremely humid but this baby put up against it all very well paired with my MAC StudioFix Powder Plus Foundation. I use it everyday then and until this day! In other words, it is very much applicable to oily, combination and even dry skin types!

I actually lost my first tube of this somewhere in the craziness of my vacation, but I immediately purchased another upon reaching home here in the U.S. Yes, it's that good! It's been recommended by youtubers such as hollyannaeree and daiserz88. It's been said that this is in the league of the likes of the Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer. So thanks to them, I found this wonderful find!

Okay, so you might be wondering why I have four tubes of the same concealer in different shades... I got the light shade because the time I first heard about this in youtube, every other shade was sold out in all the Walmarts in my area! I settled for this shade, but it was a bad idea because it's too light for me and even the fair complexion of my mum. It turns a gray-ish color on us, meaning that it's too light for us, and now is just sitting in my collection for no one to use. It's best for Caucasian skin since it is the lightest shade in the line. Anyways, the Tan shade is what I first used and what I'm still using until today but I'm thinking of going to Medium or Medium Light because I have gotten lighter and I no longer use or want to use a dark powder foundation. As for the Medium and Medium Light, both actually belongs to my younger sister! She started using this after she saw me use this and rave about it. She's usually really picky about makeup and prefers the high-end stuff, but she uses this all the time now...and that's saying something! XD
