We're almost midway July, but here are my June Favorites!
If you follow me, you'd probably know that I spent most of June in the Philippines. So I don't want to miss out in sharing with you all what I've been using everyday when I was in that sizzling tropical country. Read on!
If you follow me, you'd probably know that I spent most of June in the Philippines. So I don't want to miss out in sharing with you all what I've been using everyday when I was in that sizzling tropical country. Read on!
Dragon 11 Pcs Brush Set - These brushes are love! They're part of the 11-piece set I purchased off of Amazon for only $11. The quality is great and it comes with all the brushes you need! Plus, it is such an affordable set!
MAC Studiofix Powder in C4 - My ride or die powder foundation since the beginning.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Blonde - Somewhat light, but it can look natural (I don't like those thick brows) and stays on. Yes, despite the heat & sweat!
L'oreal Gel Eye Liner Brush - I don't like the gel eyeliner itself, but the brush has been my go-to to make my fierce eyeliner ever since I lost my older brush.
BH Cosmetics' It's Judy Time Palette - My choice for travel because of its versatility. It can make day eye makeup or go smoky for the night. I seriously dug through this palette! It isn't the absolute best in quality, but it's good for everyday. Then again, I didn't have my amazing Urban Decay Eye Primer... I used the Too Faced one and I don't think I like it as much. Anyways, I liked using this palette enough and pretty content I took this with me... it was the only palette I took with me!
e.l.f. Daily Brush Cleaner - Life saver. Pair it along with my Neutrogena Makeup Wipes and it makes keeping my brushes clean and smell good! I only brought my 11-piece set and need to use it everyday. This definitely sped up the cleaning process, in my opinion.
L'oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in 106 Sun Beige - I picked this up right before I left and found it to work pretty well. My skin wasn't totally matte, but it didn't become super greasy in the humidity of the Philippines. I felt that my skin looked so nice and it felt nice on application. Not bad! I'm glad I had this!
MAC Amplified lipstick in Craving - Pretty subtle mauve-y pink mixed with some purple. Great for everyday. I brought only MAC lippies with me and I thought Russian Red and Lickable were too much for my small/big hometown.
Revlon Beyond Natural Smoothing Primer - Just an extra step I make before adding foundation. No bad reactions at all. I think it really helped smoothing my face before that layers of foundation. Not that amazing, but probably made me feel a little more secure about my face staying on through out the hot & humid day.
Sephora Rio Nights Gel Eyeliner - I picked this up weeks before my trip because I saw that it was on clearance in Sephora and I'm glad I did! It's really pigmented and withstood the heat & humidity of the Philippines! It's also easy to work with. As soon as I opened it over there, I haven't stopped using it. I'm also glad it worked out because it was the only gel eyeliner I brought with me!
One last thing...
I also used the Maybelline Fit Me Matte Foundation and liked it enough...but it fell and it broke. Sad, huh? Well, at least I know that it worked for me while I was there.

I'm currently struggling to get so many posts up! My trip from the Philippines and Anime Expo... Plus, work-related stuff about Anime Expo for VKH-Press! Wah! At least I'm back into the groove on blogging...somewhat.
Thanks for reading!
