TOP 13 for 2013!
We are at the end of the first month of year and I'm just posting up about my TOP 13 for 2013?! It's unacceptable! ...but also a tradition of mine I started since 2011, wherein I list the top beauty things I have adored & used very well during that year. The number of things I list down depends on the years last two digits and since 2013 just passed, here's my top 13!
RIMMEL LONDON BB CREAM
I recommend this for when you don't feel like you need that much coverage, but at the same time when need your skin to look good. Unlike Asian BB Creams, this isn't drying at all! I started the year off with this and fell off it as soon as I ran out. So I started to use my other BB creams (which I didn't enjoy using as much for some reason). One day towards the end of the year, I've forgotten my makeup kit. Having to be out and about in school that day, I needed to make a quick run to the drugstore for replacements. I saw this and as soon as I started using it, I was reminded how much I liked it! And so far, I think it's the best affordable drugstore BB cream in the US market. REVLON NEARLY NAKED LIQUID FOUNDATION
I've reached out to this every time I need a little more coverage and for special occasions or performances. It doesn't get cakey like other thick foundations. Check the review here.
MAC BROW SET in GIRL BOY
A gem I've found in 2013! My hair is pretty light and this just makes my eyebrows match it. Yes, it fills in the gaps and tames the brows... but I mostly love it because color. No need to wish for some amazing Japanese product I can't get my hands on, I have this!

Excuse the state of my powders... they've been used very, very, very, very well! Talk about PAN-PORN! HA! Well, right here I have my great set of powder foundation, bronzer/contour, and wonderful highlighter (the second one I owned which I just broke prior to taking these pictures, boo!).

Geo Xtra Circle Lens XCK-105
I've been using my circle lenses even more during the year because of the performances I've had to do. Circle lenses make the eyes bigger and (as to Asian beliefs) makes you prettier! I happen to need it as an alternative to glasses when I'm on the move. I've been a loyal user of GEO lenses, they're great quality and very comfortable. I've had instances of getting pink eye with other lenses before, but never from GEO lenses even if I ended accidentally napping with it on.

MAC "LICKABLE" LIPSTICK
My first lippie from MAC! I love the color, texture, and the staying power (which is better than most drugstore lippies). I find myself grabbing for this when I want to make a statement!
FALSE EYELASHES
EyeLuv.Me House of Lashes (purchased from Anime Expo)& Daiso brand lashes.
The final touch to any eye makeup. Falsies definitely make a statement and adds that wow factor to your look! 2013 has been the start for me and I'll definitely be using for many more years.

HARDCANDY GLAMOFLAUGE HEAVY DUTY CONCEALER
Drugstore dupe to Kat Von D concealer! Beautiful coverage and can double as a foundation when you forget yours at home! Full review and swatches here.
NYX AUTO EYEBROW PENCIL in LIGHT BROWN
The last eyebrow pencil I purchased for the year and stuck to. It matches the color of my eyebrows after I apply the MAC BROW SET in GIRL BOY! So glad I found this... a drugstore find, not too dark nor too light.
PAUL MITCHELL SUPER SKINNY SERUM
Must-have for my damaged hair especially when heat styling.
MAKEUP FOREVER AQUA BLACK WATERPROOF CREAM EYE SHADOW
I'm addicted to gel eyeliner. And I definitely love for this one! Pricey... but the consistency, staying power, and color pay off is superb. I, regrettably, lost both caps for this... leaving it to dry up and die. Not great way to spend $23, but if you were to finish this up it is definitely a good high end find!
