Top 14 for 2014.
I know that we are on the second month of the new year and I have barely posted this up. But despite the amount of delay, I have been doing this post every year and I rather not stop now. I was quite busy at the beginning of the year actually! I attended/performed in Sac Anime Winter 2015 on the 2nd of January and I have either been studying or preparing for the AODSF just this past weekend (another performance in an anime convention in San Francisco). Plus, I have been putting up with my dying notebook which is quite excruciating. I don't have the means to purchase my own yet, so I have to work with what I have and be patient. But, of course, I am and will still be posting up as much as I can! Anyways, as you can see with the title, here are my TOP 14 for 2014!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel in Caramel
This quickly replaced my need for Mac Cosmetics' Girl Boy Brow Set just because it does the same thing and I decided to try it as soon as I ran out. It is a bit more expensive and I didn't think I need to buy another one from Mac while I had this. I bought some Japanese/Korean eyebrow mascaras, but I kept coming back to this. I truly think that this was good, but I may think that Mac could be a tad bit better.
NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil in Taupe
I currently am out of this and so is the Target store in my area! I love the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, but that was soooooo expensive! It's also so hard to find an eyebrow pencil in a light brownish-blonde color that isn't too soft (& will crumble) and is sturdy enough for a precise & easy application at a drugstore price. This is it! I need to grab another one asap!
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer
I received this a about two years ago and this tube is still going strong! To think that I use this a lot and share this with a lot of people, too! Crazy huh? Anyways, this primer is a must-have for every eye shadow you want to stay on your lids for long periods of time, despite the heat, sweat and eye shadow itself. My friend who never used a primer before saw the difference in the wear and the pigmentation. If you love eye shadows, you'll need a primer with that!
Make Up For Ever Aqua Black Waterproof Cream Eye Shadow
My go-to-liner and holy grail high end gel eyeliner. This is my second pot!
BH Cosmetics It's Judy Time Palette
What came to be my everyday palette! It is a product of the ever famous youtuber, Judy from It's Judy's Time. She released this with BH Cosmetics. I hauled this because of the many raves by fellow bloggers and youtubers. I'm happy that I can use this for everyday wear and I even formulate evening looks. The texture of the eye shadows did not disappoint. Great, versatile, and I love that mirror.
Urban Decay Electric Palette
The beautiful and electrifying palette by Urban Decay! I actually gifted this for my younger sis' birthday last year! This came in handy for our performances and events! If you love color like we do, get this! The texture and the pigmentation is amazing!!! Looking at this palette makes me so happy!
Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer
L'oreal True Match Super-Blendable Makeup in Nude Beige W3
Mac Cosmetics Studio Fix Powder Foundation in C4
Unparalleled powder foundation, in my book. I tried BH Cosmetics after so many gurus recommended it as it's dupe and failed. I come running back to this. I love this for the coverage and I don't mind the mild oil I get at the end of the day. I went through a couple of shades with this thru the years, as well. I'm still looking for something that can give me the same coverage in a perfect shade. But for now, this is life!
BH Cosmetics Pro Studio Matte Pressed Powder in #255
Despite my major fail hauling a lot of product from BH Cosmetics, I still have this to be happy for. This meant for someone with darker skin, but I bought it to be used for contour and bronzing. The pigmentation is so nice that my sister and I feed on this when performances come along. Harsh lighting makes you look flat and so we really used this baby a lot.
Mac Cosmetics Cremesheen Lisptick in Lickable
Once again, Lickable has made it into my list! I love the pink and how attention-catching it is especially for performances. It doesn't run off my lips and wears comfortably. No wonder people spend on Mac Cosmetics. But surprising enough, this isn't the most espensive in the bunch of luxury lippies.
Paul Mitchell Smoothing Super Skinny Serum
A must-have for everything hair! To straighten, blow-dry, and even simply keep my hair from frizzing & simply going dry to the touch.
Daiso lashes are affordable, well-made, and so pretty! This is a must-have for performances and for anyone who was born without or barely with any lashes, like me! I like the one I featured, in particular. It's natural and fabulous at the same time, with the outer part thicker than the inner part.
EOS Ice Green Lenses
After my haul from Maple Lens, this has became my favorite compared to the GEO Princess Mimi Apple Green which I purchased at the same time. Unlike the Princess Mimi Apple Green one, this was even more green & more comfortable! I used this ever since I opened it last July! It's a must-have for better vision when I can't or don't want to wear my glasses and for performances.
I apologize if you noticed the two things up on this post's primary picture which I didn't include in the list because after I made it, I looked into my old posts and collection and remembered the other things I truly love for 2014! I will make reviews on those and even more detailed reviews on most of the products that has made this list.
What are your Top 14 for 2014???
