An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein + Makeup Look.

Here's a flashback to last December... my second choreography job for theater!

If you've seen my post on "Puck'd: A Mid Summer Night's Dream Remixed", you'll know that it started from Beginning Acting class where I've show my talent for dance and was recommended to choreograph for the fairies. And last semester I have officially founded the Hartnell College Dance Club with most of the fairy ladies. This new org in the campus gathered dance enthusiasts and people who simply want to learn how to dance all in one place! With some of our members, the club has been assigned to do the dance portion of the new theater production, "An Adult Evening of She Silverstein". When you say "adult" it really means "not for kids". Silverstein's humor is very entertaining for the "sexy-minded" people. And with that theme in mind, I was free to go as "sexy as possible" choreography-wise (insert evil laugh here)! Anyways, time for pictures!

And the rest of our official pictures.

Unfortunately, video-taking was prohibited during the shows. On the brighter side, we actually performed the dances during our club's talent show which was held a week later!

I just realized that this video contains the "Officer Dance Intro" which was the original Fairy Ladies' dance for Puck'd & the mix of dances for the Shel Silverstein production. What a combo!

I originally planned on not dancing in the show despite me being the choreographer. But due to schedule changes, I was able to perform once again for theater as a dancer.

I've also actually got a lot of compliments with my self-done makeup!
Here's a closer look.

Unedited! :3

The makeup used!

MAC Studiofix Powder in C4 | Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer in Medium Light | NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder | Wet n' Wild Color Icon Bronzer in Reserve Your Cabana | NYX Auto Brow Pencil in Light Brown | MAC Brow Set in Girl Boy | Urban Decay Primer Potion in Orginal | Makeup Forever Aqua Black Waterproof Cream Eyeshadow in Black | ELF Flawless Eyeshadow in Tantalizing Taupe & Smoky | MAC "Lickable" Lipstick" | GEO Xtra Circle Lens XCK-105 | Daiso Brand Eyelashes | Maybelline The Rocket Volum Express Mascara (not in picture)

A large portion of the makeup used actually made my TOP 13 for 2013 post! Unlike the Puck'd theme, which was "colorful gothic ravers", Shel just went dark theme (even the guys wore eyeliner hehe). I focused more on smoky eyes and the strong eyeliner look. I actually forgot to bring any foundation with me and ended up using the Hard Candy concealer which gave a flawless canvas to work with (yay for two-in-one products!). I finished off with an affordable yet pretty pair of lashes from Daiso and pink lips from MAC. The circle lenses from GEO never fail to give that extra oompf on my eyes, too! It's good for performances when you want to capture the audience with seductive facial expression, TEEHEE!

With my friend, Ron, and his eye makeup...

I used the same makeup look for my club talent show last year... will post up about it soon, as well.

Why so serious?
