Sandara Park x Penshoppe [Urban Rebels 2015]

Sandara Park x Penshoppe [Urban Rebels 2015]
Sandara Park aka 2NE1's "Fake Maknae" aka "Ang Pambansang Krung-Krung ng Pilipinas" aka Dara return to her Filipino roots by being the newest ambassador of one of the biggest clothing brands in the Philippines, Penshoppe! She is joining big names such as Sean O'Pry (the highest paid male model in the world), Cara Delevigne, Kendall Jenner and, fellow Asian heartthrob, Mario Maurer in Penshoppe's latest camapign, Urban Rebels

Dara's campaign pictures are actually hard to find at the moment (if there is, it's low quality) and it isn't available on the Penshoppe website yet... but I managed! Check out some of Dara's campaign pictures!

Dara can really work the rugged look!

We got some smoky eyes and nude lips with a resting bitch face. Yasss!
Thanks to the team who handled her makeup, it didn't turn out bad at all. I was afraid they would incorporate the usual Filipina's style of makeup (sorry, I'm not a fan). This edgy look makes Dara look so swag, it's so nice to see this side of her!

As for the clothes, itself, I like it! It is edgy and not for the faint of heart. If you wear it, you better have the attitude that goes with it! At the same time, it doesn't take much effort to put an outfit together with the clothes. I remember wanting to wear the clothes when I was way young living in the Philippines... just one piece of their clothing can make you look different. Good job, Penshoppe. The clothes you put on these big time stars was pretty cool. You can view the rest of the Urban Rebels campaign here.

The Inquirer conducted an interview with Dara about her latest venture, but was cut up into 5 parts. I found a video that was complete! If you want to know what's up with Dara lately, go on and watch:

Seriously, so swag!
What did you think of Dara's campaign with Penshoppe?

Sassy Colors' Long Wear Waterproof Eyeliner in Jet Black

Sassy Colors' Long Wear Waterproof Eyeliner in Jet Black
Here's the last installment of my Sassy Colors review... well, for now at least and until I get my hands on more of their products! Read on to see what I thought about this eyeliner!

Sassy Colors' Long Wear Waterproof Eyeliner in Jet Black
Sassy Colors' Long Wear Waterproof Eyeliner in Jet Black

What it is:
  • Long wearing waterproof eyeliner
  • Opthalmologically tested
  • Made in Italy
  • 90PHP
  • Sold in Watsons (where I bought mine) and department stores such as SM and LCC

What I think:
Not a bad price for an eyeliner available even in provincial areas like Legazpi, my hometown. I like the packaging, it is pink and not hard to spot. Plus, it is retractable! No need to waste the product from sharpening it. As for the product, it feels like a nearly-dried gel consistency as if this were what a gel eyeliner would feel like in pencil form rather than a pot. It is also Jet Black when you put enough pressure in application. Sadly, I did not try this while I was in the Philippines... I opened it up when I got back here in California. My skin gets dry over here and I feel like this eyeliner that was made to withstand the heat and humidity is not compatible with the dry weather here. Meaning, it applies slightly dry on me at the first application. But, I've used so many gel eyeliners to know what works and what doesn't. The consistency definitely, as I said, will withstand the tropical climate of the Philippines which is where this eyeliner is marketed towards. But when I do apply it, it doesn't smear off and actually stays on the eyes like a gel liner would. Right now, I use this for back up and to re-touch my already-done-eyeliner on-the-go. So if you need an eyeliner that'll stick around, TRY THISSSS!

Philippine Beauty Haul: The 2015 Edition

Check out the beauty goodies I picked up during my vacation in the Philippines! Woot woot!

Nichido Liquid Eyeliner

Nichido Liquid Eyeliner.
Hey guys!
Time to review Filipino brand and it just so happens to be from Nichido again! Yup, this is the same free eyeliner that came with the Nichido Matted Palette I got for P100 (hence the big yellow "free" sticker on it). I could have gotten it with the free lipgloss but I'm more of an eyeliner lover. Besides, I've been meaning to get my hands on this very popular liquid eyeliner AGAIN. I owned this during my third year in college but gave it away after the first few tries for reasons I will say later... Let's see if this baby redeemed itself in my perspective.

Nails of the Day: Neon Pink x Green Session.

Anyways, here's my combo for the week!

Must-Have Spring Nail Colors!

Hey guys!

It's spring time! I'm loving how the weather is getting a little warm and everything suddenly looks colorful! Cheers to the new season! And right now, I suddenly feel the need to paint my fingernails in pretty colors, as well! Anyways, I bumped into an article on what nail colors you could rock for spring... so I went into my rarely-touched collection to see if I've got any of it that will go with the Spring trends!

Hey Guys!
So this is a review on an eyeliner I picked up from my long vacation in the Philippines last year. Enjoy the review!

Nichido Make-Up Collection Matted Palette.

Nichido Make-Up Collection Matted Palette.

Hey Guys!

Let me share with you this Nichido Palette which I got during my long vacation in the Philippines for only P100 with their famous Nichido Liquid Eyeliner! Nice deal huh? Too nice for me to pass by! Nichido is the same brand that makes my HG eyebrow pencil (you can check that out here) so I thought to myself, why not try out their eyeshadow?

First Philippine Haul!

Hey guys!
I know that I've brought more than half my makeup collection along with me to the Philippines... but of course, I left some important stuff out! Haha. Let me share with you this super mini haul I've picked up from the beauty section of Pacific Mall's Metro Department Store here in Legazpi City.

The Fanny Serrano Eyelash Curler.
P175.
I know what you're thinking... "How on earth does this beauty blogger go live without one?!" Haha. Well, right before we left for the Philippines, my mum borrowed my Sally Hanssen Eyelash Curler and never returned it. I didn't mind because mascara could get messy when traveling more than 12 hours straight. Anyways, I truthfully would go with one from E.L.F. but our local mall here doesn't sell that brand and I read raves on this brand in the local forums, as well. I've already tried cheaper eyelash curlers years ago but that never worked out... so yeah, this is why I picked out this one.

Gatsby Oil Clear Sheet.
P119.
In the U.S., my skin is dry while here in the Philippines, it is oily! A must-have for the majority of the people here since this country is not only sizzling hot but extremely humid, too! I picked this one out because it contains 70 black oil-blotting sheets while Clean & Clear has only 60 light blue sheets for the same price. I think black oil-blotting sheets are cooler looking, by the way. TEEHEE.

Boal Mini Scissors.
P79
I need these to trip my long strands of eyebrow hair... they've got a mind of their own so I trim them in order to get the perfect eyebrows or something close to that. LOL.

Kojie San Body Lightening Lotion.
P262
So, all these jogging is tanning me and my sisters. My mum actually bought a tube of this last year and used it up... but we never got to ask her if it works. If you got any suggestions on good whitening/lightening lotions here in the Philippines... suggest away!

I've been pretty busy with dancing lately... I'm in-charge of my sister's dance program for her debut party in May, thus less blogging.  I apologize for not being as active as before.

My Hair History & Current Hair!

Its been 3 years since I was forced to color my hair black because having any other color is not allowed in my course, Nursing. I hung out with Japanese people a lot prior to moving to the Philippines to study and became so interested in getting ORANGE hair.

During 1st year college (early 2008).

SAN SAN HAUL & MINI REVIEW

I'm back! I just completed my graduation requirements and am now free to blog! I'm trying to cut down in spending on makeup but I couldn't pass the chance to try out new products from San-San. I love my thick black eyeliner and was dying to find a foundation powder dark enough for my tan.

PRODUCT REVIEW: FASHION 21 RETRACTABLE BLUSH BRUSH

I have acquired this brush earlier this year and used it everyday since. I think its a great time to do a review on it...

Okay, so I usually have thick eyebrows but I accidentally trimmed it down too much!!!
I was at the beauty section of my local mall and was looking at the Nichido shelves and this caught my eye.
