J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2015

CLUB LOLLIPOP | ODOTTEMITA DANCE CONTEST | J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2015
Exactly a week ago, I was at J-POP SUMMIT 2015!
Yup, I performed on stage twice and enjoyed the newer & bigger event!
Read on to see what went down!

RIVER.

I know I haven't been posting up so much because I'm currently on vacation in the Philippines... my exact whereabouts at the moment? The same place you see this video! We literally filmed this video hours and just uploaded it to youtube! We are currently at The Oriental Legazpi. We specifically booked this place because of it's glorious view of the majestic Mayon Volcano, our hometown Legazpi, and what should have been the hotel's infinity pool. Unfortunately there were a bit of people using the pool and lacked space at that area, so we settled for the area in the video. You can kinda still see the pool, but thankfully Mayon was there to be the star of the show! We are checking out in a few hours, so I intend to make this post quick....so I can enjoy the rest of the day. I will post up my review about this staycation soon. The pocket wifi I purchased was terrible and I am thankful that The Oriental's wifi made it so easy to upload this!

Initially, we picked this piece to cover because it is a very nice song by AKB48 along with the choreography that makes us motivated and feel strong. Another big reason is that the center of the song, Takahashi Minami aka Takamina, who is not only an original member and the General Manager of the group... is graduating this year! As sad and heartbroken we are to see one of our favorites leave the group, this is showing our support to her. I love you, Takamina!!!!

We hope to be seen in J-Pop Summit 2015 Festival's ODOTTEMITA Dance Contest for the group division! Check out my solo entry and our recent K-Pop dance cover here! Please do like, comment and even subscribe if we entertained you! Teehee!

J-Pop Summit Festival 2014 DAY 1

J-Pop Summit Festival 2014 DAY 1
So this is how my day at J-Pop Summit Festival 2014 in San Francisco went!

CLUB LOLLIPOP | J-Pop Summit Festival 2014 "ODOTTEMITA" Dance Contest

CLUB LOLLIPOP | J-Pop Summit Festival 2014 "ODOTTEMITA" Dance Contest
Yay!
We won second place at the J-Pop Summit Festival 2014 "ODOTTEMITA" Dance Contest!

Out of seven, we were supposedly six girls dancing. But merely hours before leaving for San Francisco, Dioselene backed out because of knee pain. Two of our dancers, Maricruz and Maggie, were already in Japan Town. So, we couldn't practice altogether. And finally, minutes before getting up on stage... my dancers and I were practicing backstage for our new formations! Also, we were unfortunate to not practice on the stage prior to the contest, so we weren't familiar to it until our turn. We made it work somehow and kept it together! Yay!

We were judged by the Japanese teen idol group, Tokyo Girls' Style. My sister made cookies for them, so each of them got a bag from each of us. They were thankful and wanted a picture with us! After that, we saw them everywhere! They would wave at us, greet us, and even cheered us on for the J-Pop Idol contest the next day! Wheeee! They were so sweet and friendly! I was even called "kawaii"! Whooo!

Here's our performance!

CLUB LOLLIPOP | AKB48's BEGINNER DANCE COVER/ODOTTEMITA 【踊ってみた】

CLUB LOLLIPOP
If you read my previous post, you'll know that my group, CLUB LOLLIPOP (2nd Generation), were working really hard for our second project! Now, I shall reveal our final product!

It was only this year that I came to be a super fan of AKB48! Yeah, I know... really late considering most of the "KANI 7" a.k.a top of the top girls of the group already graduated (Noooo! Acchan, Tomochin, Mariko, and just recently Yukoooooo!). I used to only be a hardcore K-POP fan, but I have grown tired of it. The overly sexy and perfect concepts has bore me... so when AKB48 was fully introduced to me, I fell in love with the imperfection, the cutesy concept, the importance of charisma, and the need to work hard in order to become center nova!!!
