What I Got on My Birthday: The 2015 Edition

I know my birthday was exactly a month ago and I'm sharing these only now! Sorry! Well, I'm not really here to brag... but I'm just so excited to receive these! My dad got my own tablet! Yay! It's the Samsung Tab 4, not as fancy as an iPad, but pretty good. I will review this for my Tech Tuesday tomorrow or another Tuesday. And I picked up my freebie from Sephora, which turned out to be better than the last two years. I can finally own something from Nars, hurrah! We spent my birthday at J-Pop Summit 2015, so the experience itself was a gift... especially because we stayed at Omni San Franciso. My younger sis and I paid for it, so my parents can enjoy being dragged out by their two kids to join another one of those dork conventions we love to go to, haha. I'm happy to cross the tablet off my wishlist. Which remind me that I'll need to organize a page post on my wishlist, so you & I know what I've already crossed out of it.

Honestly, I've been having a rough time... But, it's a good life, isn't it? Let's all stay happy!

I know I am not a nail polish girl but with here on out, I will try my best to be a decent one! Look at these fabulous colors... so tempting. It bring out the girly-ness I rarely had in my younger years. n_n

Anyways, I've always loved Sassy Colors (Filipino brand) not only for the colors but for the fact it was the only nail polish that didn't have any harsh chemicals that would make the nails brittle or yellow.

My sister did a product shoot for the company and brought home these goodies! I would like to thank Ate Jelyn for being so kind to allow her bestfriend to take this much. We've been getting a couple of free stuff way back in the day... even the ones that are still in experimental stages, the time I discovered and deemed Hot Pink will always be my signature color.TEEHEE XD

Here's an instagram sample of her work from the shoot! :)

Charming Charlie.

Hey Guys!
So my bunny is holding a Charming Charlie pouch which held a gift card from my aunt for the past Christmas... And finally, just a few days ago... I've spent it! Haha.

Usually, I'd receive gift cards for Macy's, Old Navy, Forever21 and other common stores... So it was funny getting one for Charming Charlie because I never heard of it before! Anyways, my aunt was super excited for us to go spend our cards already and now I know why. CC is like the Forever21 of everything accessories sorted by color! And the CC at the mall is quite big and took me awhile to pick out what I could get with my gift card.

So this is what I picked out...
A silver clutch with gold hardware and a chain when you want to wear it around your body.

It's got two main compartments... the zipper isn't only a design!

I was thinking about the nightlife when I get back to the Philippines.
It will fit the basics for what I need when I go hit the club.
Yes, I love to go clubbing with my friends... and I can't wait!
>_<

Christmas 2011.

Hey guys!
Sorry for the lack of blogging! I've been busy lately because my family hosted our clan's Christmas Party this year! I actually missed out on this event last year because I was in the Philippines for school... Anyways, my mum wanted everything nice and "perfect"... But I'm glad it's over and done with!

Beauty-related Christmas gift I received?
Sephora Perfecting Cover Concealer in Medium Beige #25.
This was an exchange gift with my little sister... We were shopping at Sephora so we could get joint gifts for our parents and our older sister then she told me if I could find anything under $20, she would get it for me. How sweet right?? But I was like, if you get me something... I have to get you something as well! She said I didn't have to...but I insisted. So it turned out to be as if we bought stuff for ourselves! LOL. She picked out a Sephora lipgloss while I picked out this Sephora Perfecting Cover Concealer. Why? Well, I know that I will soon be running low on my HG Amazing Cosmetics Concealer but I didn't want to spend for it! The AmazingConcealer is $28 for 6ml while this Sephora Concealer is just $16 for 15ml!!! Big difference right? I just hope it could be as great, though. I'll review this later!

Anyways, I also got a cute bag from the Secret Santa my cousins and I did... and I got a new phone!!! Its a Samsung Galaxy S... an android! Yay! No need for the iTouch I wanted! So now I get to upload more stuff via mobile.. like the Christmas tree up there! It's real pine and decorated by my photographer sister, Roxx. Pretty nice, huh?? LOL.

Here's a picture of our chocolate fountain that night...

I've been jogging again because the Taekwondo school is closed for the holidays and all the Christmas food has plumped me up! Seriously, chocolate & sugar overload! Noooo!

More posts coming soon!
Hope you're enjoying the last days of this year!

Urban Decay's Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color

Urban Decay's Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in PUNCH DRUNK.

Hey guys!  So here's the review of the 2nd gift I received from my sistarrs....

What it is:
Urban Decay's creamiest, most sumptuously pigmented lip pencil.
What it does:
This formula delivers all the opaque, saturated, high-impact color of your favorite lipstick and an arresting high-gloss finish in one chubby pencil. And with a dynamic bright to deep shade range in creamy and sparkly textures, the runway-ready possibilities are endless. Even the glittery hues in this collection of high-gloss lip pencils feel smooth on your lips (and leave not a trace of sparkle grit). This conveniently portable pencil's high-gloss shine can be blotted for a more stain-like effect, but no matter how you wear it, the color lasts. Free of mineral oil and paraffin, this formula contains plant-derived ingredients that nourish lips. Because the barrels and boxes are color-matched to each shade, locating the color you want is easy, even in the deep, dark depths of an oversize tote.

Size: 0.32 oz
Price: $18

 Description taken from here.

Urban Decay's Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in PUNCH DRUNK.

 What I like:
  • Extremely pigmented! One swipe and you get what you need.
  • Glides on so smoothly.
  • Moisturizing. Does not accentuate dry patches on the lips.
  • Lasts pretty well when I'm not clumsy. LOL.
  • It's a fat lip pencil.

What I don't like:
  • Price.
  • Will smear off instantly if you apply too much lip balm or jelly prior to this.

PUNCH DRUNK.

The color Punch Drunk is such a shocking orange color! I love it! I was obsessing over finding a great orange lipstick when I was in the Philippines and I thought I have found it...until I received this wonderful present! If you're not a fan of the shocking factor of the color, I suggest you apply a little bit on your lips and smooth it out all over, for a more subtle look.

So is it worth the price? Well, I'm actually not too sure about that. Yes, it is a great product but if there was a more affordable alternative that will provide the same quality... why not??! Would I repurchase this? Luckily this was a present! But if I had the resources and have all my essentials met (foundation & tools), I would probably get the color Big Bang!!!

Birthday Gifts

Hey guys!
Sooooo.... I turned 21 last month! Yessssss! I can't believe that I started blogging when I was 19 (I had an old blog) and now..... I'm old! LOL. There wasn't a party or anything, my family simply enjoyed our day out on the beach.... Anyhoo, my sisters surprised me with two amazing products the very next day.

Urbay Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color.

Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Liner.

How nice of them, right? I'm a cheap-o type of person who would probably ever think of buying this for myself... they probably felt sorry for me! LOL. They bought these babies the day they came out (August 8)! They said they were the only ones there the time and they had all the new testers to themselves. Basically, they went tester-crazy! I was at home being lazy the whole time. LOL.

I will post a review later for a more accurate description on how I like them or not.... But so far, so good!

By the way, these product shots are made possible with the help of my older sister! Check out her BLOG for more awesome photos!
