Disregarding the Fortune Cookie...

February 27, 2013 bee. 0 Comments

So yesterday, my dad & I went out to eat some Pho' at a Vietnamese restaurant called Noodle House.

I got myself a Mango flavored Pearl Shake or Bobba. It reminds me of my craze for Zagu during my college days! I swear, everytime I go Pacific Mall Legazpi, I would always get myself one in their largest size. Anyways, so yeah... drinking that brought back memories of that time!

Our main meal was this, ofcourse...
It really is so yummy!
I forgot to ask my dad this is called... but I'm sure it's real Vietnamese Pho'!

Here's the fortune I got from last night's dinner!
"You shouldn't overspend at the moment. Frugality is important."
My past posts have mostly been about hauls... which I do promise to review on in the near future. I guess this was a sign for me to stop with all the "hauling", hahaha.

But right after dinner, my dad said that we go in K-Mart. Nope, it's not like the ever so popular "K-Mart" in Legazpi where you buy some Korean goodies! K-Mart here is a large discount store much like Walmart. We never really shop at K-Mart but it was the closest department store around and I thought I'd take a look at their makeup section as I wait for my dad. Much to my surprise, K-Mart is pretty well-stocked! And unlike most store, the products are "untouched". Some people like to be rude and open packaging of the makeup, creating a mess! Ugggh! Quite annoying, for real! I took a good look at the E.L.F. section and I was in awe... They had most of the Essential Line, quite a number of their Studio Line, and their newest line! I haven't seen suck stocks in any other store and so, I couldn't resist!

My latest haul!
Eye Lips Face Haul.
While the Essential Line costs $1 each and the Studio Line for $3, this line costs $2 a piece!

Sorry to the fortune of my fortune cookie... I didn't come through! I know I said my last haul will be the last, but I failed! But yay for my beloved blog! This is great! But seriously though, Beauty Blogging is one expensive hobby! HAHA.

I will definitely blog about these later!

What's In My Bag? The Back-to-School Edition.

February 26, 2013 bee. 1 Comments

Hey Guys!
So yeah, this will be first ever post on "what's in my bag"! These kinds of videos are one of my favorite things to watch in youtube, truthfully, and so I thought I'd do a post on it. If you've been following me from the start, you'd probably know that I've already graduated with my Bachelor's Degree almost two years ago! Yikes! But right now, while waiting for my permit to test processes itself (yes, it's taking that long! rawr!) I've gone back to school! And also, Spring Break is next month! Better do this now before it's too late again! XD

I graduated from Nursing in the Philippines... So all my fellow nurses out there know how much stress there was during those student days! 7AM to 8PM schedule with only an hour for lunch in between! Don't get me started with clinicals... UGH! HAHA. I regrettably didn't do this post back then. It could have been so interesting to see what I had with me! I was known to bring my "whole house" with me ever since freshman year. LOL.

Moving on... So what is in my bag??

These are the main things you will find if you rummage any bag I have, at the moment. I can definitely assure you it's nothing like nursing school wherein my bigger laptop, my binders, heavy books, and a lot of paper & pens should be found. But right now, I'm so laid back and just enjoying school! I'm basically doing the stuff I couldn't do or didn't have enough time to do during nursing school. Video Editing, Beginning Acting class, & Gym are fun! Did I mention I'm in a musical? Not a major role but I double as the choreographer! TEEHEE.

After gym... in the locker rooms.
What's in your bag?

Fashion Fridays: Hot Pants Love!

February 22, 2013 bee. 0 Comments

instagram: @beekyoote
 Hey guys!
I haven't posted much about fashion, so let me share with you all my wardrobe must-haves!
So yeah, "Hot Pants", "Booty Shorts", "Short Shorts" and however you call them... they are LOVE! I'm not the biggest fashion expert but when it comes to clothes shopping, I can never can get enough of those tiny things! As you can see in the picture collage above, these are actually all my ootd posts from my instagram account! I've definitely been loving hot pants the past year! Truth be told, my legs are my favorite body parts. No, it is far from perfect. And being so, I always tried hiding them all the time in my younger years... But knowing that time is too short and that I'm not getting younger, I decided to just strut what I got! HAHA

Let me share with you my picks from Zalora.com.ph!

The Laid Back Look.

The Playful Look.

The Serious Look.

The Night Out Look.

 Why I love hot pants?
1. Pair any of it with a simple white top and you're stylin'!
2. Can be mixed and matched with stockings or leggings for a different look.
3. This will definitely make your legs appear longer and especially when paired with some heels!
4. To show off what your moma gave you in style!
5. To make any season hotter than it may or may not be!

I guess I'm really excited for Spring and Summer to come... it's been unbearable cold lately and I'm so ready to just wear my short shorts everyday again! TEEHEE.

Check out Zalora for my choices of shorts and many other cool finds:

Travel Tuesday: Skating around Monterey + VLOG.

February 19, 2013 bee. 4 Comments

Lover's Point, Monterey, CA.
Lover's Point, Monterey, CA.
McAbee Beach, Cannery Row, Monterey, CA.
Carousel Fine Candies, Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey, CA.
Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey, CA.
Our Frozen Yogurt Creation! MYO, Monterey, CA.
The other Saturday, my cousins and I decided to go chill at Monterey. It wasn't an expected trip because we had musical practice that morning but it ended earlier than expected. With a cruiser board, longboard, and a scooter, we headed off to our mini road trip. First we parked over at Cannery Row where we found the long trail leading to Lover's Point (30 mins away by foot). And while they skated their way to our destination, I walked/ran to catch up! HAHA. Then we returned to Cannery Row and then decided to to Fisherman's Wharf, which is also about thirty minutes away on foot opposite of Lover's Point. Monterey is known for their fish and Clam Chowder, so we went on a mini Taste Testing Spree before settling down at the park eating the best tasting Clam Chowder. We then returned to Cannery Row and ate some frozen yogurt at MYO! It basically was a pretty chill day with a lot of exercise! HAHA. Before heading home we actually checked out the cool stores... I got some very nice stockings from the Sock Shop. I'll tell you about it next time!

Here's the vlog I put together for the wonderful day!

KPop Mondays: My Kpop M.V.P. Univeristy Tour Experience + VLOG!

February 18, 2013 bee. 0 Comments

Hey Guys!
Yesterday, I've attended an KPop Music Video Party over at the Infinity Dance Studio in San Jose!

Infinity Dance Studio, San Jose, CA.
The venue.
With my sister and cousins.
We arrived about 10 mins before 2pm, thinking we were late, but we were one of the very few early ones.
Aimee Lee Lucas. KPOP MVP @ the Infinity Dance Studio, San Jose, CA.
Getting settled in before starting the class.
Let me introduce to you Aimee Lee Lucas.
The Vixen of KPop.
She worked as a choreographer and performer with the likes of Big Bang and 2NE1.
Was first seen in the KPop scene in Big Bang's Number One MV and has been my dance idol ever since.
It was a pretty big class... so much more than I expected!
We stayed in front for the first half of the class in order to learn as much as possible.
The class was two hours long to learn a minute of the dance of G-Dragon's Breathe.
Aimee, not only beautiful & hella sexy, is truly such an amazing dancer and teacher!
She made it extremely fun to learn!
The class formally ended with a "soul train".

Just be clear, KPop M.V.P. is Aimee's company that teaches Kpop dance classes. Kpop is spreading far and wide...with the competition getting higher and higher in South Korea, they come up with many fun & amazing dance choreography! And I don't think there is no other person perfect for this job, bringing these KPop moves to America, than Aimee! Not only is she very immersed in the Kpop scene, know that she is extremely passionate about it!

instagram: @beekyoote
It was definitely awesome seeing her again (I first met her, luckily at the Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour Concert in LA) and this time to actually learn from her! The class was definitely fun! There were so many awesome dancers in the class, as well... all so inspiring to make me work hard in dance. I haven't been dancing at all lately but they sure make me want to keep dancing!

By the way, did you know this two-hour class was only $15??! Crazzzy right?! Great class, loads of fun, and a price you can't beat! If KPop M.V.P. is coming to your place...whether you're a dancer or simply just a KPop lover, do not hesitate! This is definitely worth it!

Here's Aimee dancing the choreography for the class!

And in addition to everything else, I was totally starstruck all over again and probably acted like some crazed fan girl...GAHH! HAHAHA.  And oh yeah, I took a lot of videos while the class was going on because I wanted to make sure this epic day will not be forgotten... I put together a little vlog! Hope you enjoy watching! :D
