This baby does what it was made to do.

Thin and intact brush.
As much as I love eyeliner, I hated using it due to my asymmetrical  eyes. And so, I would always resolve to use a gel eyeliner for better control with great pigmentation and staying power. After applying it on to my lids, I've concluded that I have never used a liquid eyeliner with such ease! The brush is thin enough to create sharp lines and its bristles don't separate (which could get really messy). I love how the wand is short, as well! I've tried the N.Y.C. liquid eyeliner and I liked it for its pigmentation but the wand was too long, making it difficult to control the application of the eyeliner, and the bristles of the brush would separate making the application conducive to numerous mistakes and eye-rubbing (wrinkles!) action.

One swatch only.
The product itself is great! Retrograde is violet in color with purple shimmer. One application of this, and BAM! You get what you need! Its definitely not the type to purely produce only glitter upon application nor the pigmented liquid present without the glitter like what extremely cheap eyeliners would do.

This eyeliner is also waterproof and glides on like a dream. Having uneven eyes, I use a wet cotton-tip or q-tip very often to reshape my eyeliner in order to balance my eye shape. In doing that, there were times where water dripped down on some of the parts of the already-applied-eyeliner but they don't budge!

And by the way, this eyeliner PEELS off when you remove it! Yes, PEEL OFF! The glitter doesn't get all over the place when you wash your face or anything. But it will cleanly roll up into tiny balls as you take it off and save your eyes from crow's feet wrinkles! Waterproof yet extremely easy to remove, isn't that awesome?!

The downside to this eyeliner, and maybe for all liquid eyeliners, is that you will need to wait for this to dry before batting your eyelashes (especially for those with eye folds).; But that's tolerable, right? And also, this eyeliner is definitely no cheap thrill.

Despite the price, I really think its worth the money (and it better be!). Its so easy to use and the product is great. I especially love it because it made lining my eyes so much less of a drab. I'm so happy I got this as a gift from my sistarrs!

MY FACE ALL ZOOMED IN.

My sisters thought that getting this color for me would be more fun than the usual black color we always get no matter what eyeliner brand it is. I think its pretty fun and great for parties or night outs!
