Maybelline Expert Wear Eye Shadow in Designer Chocolates.

Maybelline Expert Wear Eye Shadow in Designer Chocolates.
Hey guys!
Today I'd like to share with you the eyeshadow set I've been using almost everyday before I left for the Philippines.  But first, I apologize... this looks quite battered because we had this for awhile. In fact, this packaging is already old... Maybelline came out with the same eyeshadows with a newer and prettier packaging.

Maybelline Expert Wear Eye Shadow in Designer Chocolates Swatches.

 My Thoughts:
  • Colors are good for everyday use.
  • You got the basic browns and a shimmery rose color to add a little spice to the usual natural look.
  • With use of Urban Decay Primer Potion, the colors can become more vivid and possibly be wearable for the night.
  • Easy to blend.
  • Four colors for only $5. Affordable indeed.
I didn't take this along with me to my trip to the Philippines because I decided to bring along my E.L.F. Studio 27 Piece Mini Makeup Collection. (Check it out here & here)

I'll push myself to post looks using the E.L.F. set... I definitely will! LOL.

Catch you all later!

First Philippine Haul!

Hey guys!
I know that I've brought more than half my makeup collection along with me to the Philippines... but of course, I left some important stuff out! Haha. Let me share with you this super mini haul I've picked up from the beauty section of Pacific Mall's Metro Department Store here in Legazpi City.

The Fanny Serrano Eyelash Curler.
P175.
I know what you're thinking... "How on earth does this beauty blogger go live without one?!" Haha. Well, right before we left for the Philippines, my mum borrowed my Sally Hanssen Eyelash Curler and never returned it. I didn't mind because mascara could get messy when traveling more than 12 hours straight. Anyways, I truthfully would go with one from E.L.F. but our local mall here doesn't sell that brand and I read raves on this brand in the local forums, as well. I've already tried cheaper eyelash curlers years ago but that never worked out... so yeah, this is why I picked out this one.

Gatsby Oil Clear Sheet.
P119.
In the U.S., my skin is dry while here in the Philippines, it is oily! A must-have for the majority of the people here since this country is not only sizzling hot but extremely humid, too! I picked this one out because it contains 70 black oil-blotting sheets while Clean & Clear has only 60 light blue sheets for the same price. I think black oil-blotting sheets are cooler looking, by the way. TEEHEE.

Boal Mini Scissors.
P79
I need these to trip my long strands of eyebrow hair... they've got a mind of their own so I trim them in order to get the perfect eyebrows or something close to that. LOL.

Kojie San Body Lightening Lotion.
P262
So, all these jogging is tanning me and my sisters. My mum actually bought a tube of this last year and used it up... but we never got to ask her if it works. If you got any suggestions on good whitening/lightening lotions here in the Philippines... suggest away!

I've been pretty busy with dancing lately... I'm in-charge of my sister's dance program for her debut party in May, thus less blogging.  I apologize for not being as active as before.

Till my next post, lovelies!

Back Home...

Mayon Volcano. The Boulevard, Puro, Legazpi City, Philippines.

So, its been more than a week since I got back to my hometown Legazpi City!

I apologize for going M.I.A. on my wonderful readers... packing, traveling, and the business I've had to attend to as soon as I arrived threw off my blogging schedule. I have loads of stuff I wish to share with you all, but I need to get the hang of taking pictures everywhere at anytime first. Gahhh! I know... I suck! Sorry! I'll try harder from now on!

Anyways, what I have been doing consistently the past days was jogging... in hopes that I get in shape for summer and my sister's upcoming debut party which was the whole point of our return to the motherland. Here are a few pictures... I hope this is be enough for now.

outside Bicol University... the main road.
First day my sisters and I got back... jogged despite the wet weather.

Shots from just this morning!
1. 5AM at the big bridge of Legazpi City's Boulevard.
2. Sunrise at 6AM.
3. Met my cousins who were jogging as well! :)

I love jogging early in the morning here! I get to see Mayon Volcano, the world's almost-perfect-shaped volcano, while jogging by the sea and enjoying the refreshing breeze! So much better than just seeing my usual neighborhood back in the U.S.!

I know most of my readers are here in the Philippines... I hope we all get together sometime!
Yeahhh??? Teehee.

And oh yeah, I got INSTAGRAM!

Charming Charlie.

Hey Guys!
So my bunny is holding a Charming Charlie pouch which held a gift card from my aunt for the past Christmas... And finally, just a few days ago... I've spent it! Haha.

Usually, I'd receive gift cards for Macy's, Old Navy, Forever21 and other common stores... So it was funny getting one for Charming Charlie because I never heard of it before! Anyways, my aunt was super excited for us to go spend our cards already and now I know why. CC is like the Forever21 of everything accessories sorted by color! And the CC at the mall is quite big and took me awhile to pick out what I could get with my gift card.

So this is what I picked out...
A silver clutch with gold hardware and a chain when you want to wear it around your body.

It's got two main compartments... the zipper isn't only a design!

I was thinking about the nightlife when I get back to the Philippines.
It will fit the basics for what I need when I go hit the club.
Yes, I love to go clubbing with my friends... and I can't wait!
>_<
